Missouri Resistance

Missouri, once a real political battleground, is now as red as a fire truck’s rear end.  Our state legislature consists of a super majority of Republicans in both the House and Senate.  Measures to ban abortion, repeals paid sick leave and increase the state’s sales tax will be placed on the November 2026 ballot thanks to the MAGA Republicans in Jefferson City. This is what extremism looks like and it’s only going to get worse.

So who’s responsible? The Missouri Maga Republicans who bow down to their orange idiot in Washington DC, right? Think again.

Trump and his cronies are the outcome of a problem that started decades ago.  

You want to know who to blame?  Look in the mirror.

Most of us tuned out, stayed silent, or believed someone else would fight the battle for democracy. While we were distracted, extremists organized, mobilized, and took control. Now the consequences are hitting Missouri families where it hurts most.

So, what are we supposed to do about it?  According to the liberal podcast and social media pundits, we should show our defiance by writing letters, making phone calls, writing editorials, and attending public forums.  So, how’s that working out? Missouri Resistance aims to be different.

This podcast is about action, strategy, and contributing to the organizing of a real social and political movement from the ground up. Every week, we take a deep dive into the damage being done to people who have already been struggling to get by. And we show you how to take the concrete steps we need to build the resistance that will also serve as the foundations for a new world.

We’re done accepting their crumbs. And we refuse to accept their band aid “solutions” that aren’t actually meant to solve problems.
